Founded by Havard Alums Sarah Paiji and Jinhee Kim, Snapette helped discover local fashion from the convenience of your palm. Snapette App offered a location-based approach to designer fashion. Users upload snaps of their favorite pieces and tag them by brand and store. Browse the photos and see where items were purchased, or peruse offerings from participating stores near you.

The company completed the prestigious 500 Startups accelerator program in Silicon Valley, and went on to raise $1.5 million in funding from Accel Partners, Forerunner Ventures and ShoeDazzle founder Brian Lee before getting acquired by price grabber in 2013.

Snapette offered real-time alerts on your phone about new stores, special discounts and exclusive giveaways from over 750 designer brands & stores. The app's product catalogue included items from thousands of global brands and retailers. This app offered the perfect shopping tool not just for the NYC fashionista, but also for shoppers from Alaska to Palm Beach and everyone in between.
